Ron’s Swiftie Story
A Swiftie since 2012, Ron’s love for music and songwriting has been deeply influenced by Taylor Swift.
His connection to Taylor began during childhood, when he discovered her music through songs shared and downloaded by his family. His mother introduced him and his sister to Taylor’s music, while his father, a passionate music enthusiast, taught them to play guitar and a little piano. Music became something they could share as a family, with his father continuing to share his own song covers with friends online.
Taylor’s own songwriting journey also inspired Ron from an early age. After learning that Taylor began writing songs around the age of 12, Ron was inspired to write a song of his own at around the same age.
For Ron, music has always been a way to create and express himself. His rendition of “august” came from a spontaneous desire to share his creativity, especially at a time when the song felt particularly fitting.
While he hopes to one day be recognized as an artist, Ron remains grateful for the inspiration Taylor’s music has given him and for the opportunity to rediscover his creative momentum through The Swiftie Sessions.
