ILOILO CITY — Swifties Iloilo issues this official statement to address recent concerns regarding the conduct of two former volunteer apprentices who engaged in behavior that failed to meet the ethical standards and values upheld by our community.

These individuals joined Swifties Iloilo as volunteer apprentices and assisted in two of our official events. Unfortunately, during their brief involvement, they neglected to carry out their duties with the diligence and integrity expected of their positions. Notably, both failed to appear at a scheduled event without any prior written notice or valid explanation, causing operational setbacks and avoidable strain on fellow volunteers and event coordinators.

It has since become evident that these individuals sought their volunteer apprentice status primarily for personal benefit rather than genuine contribution, demonstrating little to no regard for their role’s responsibilities or the community they pledged to serve. Such conduct stands in direct conflict with Swifties Iloilo’s mission to foster trust, collaboration, and authentic fan engagement.

No personal, sensitive, or confidential information was ever granted to these former volunteer apprentices. Immediately upon discovering these ethical breaches, all access to internal systems, proprietary resources, documents, and any organizational tools was fully terminated and disabled. Their volunteer apprentice status was likewise revoked, effective immediately.

Furthermore, should there be any instance where these former volunteers attempt to use their prior affiliation or identification with Swifties Iloilo for personal purposes or misrepresentation, please be advised that Swifties Iloilo bears no responsibility or obligation for any actions, commitments, or representations made by these individuals. Any misuse of our name, logo, credentials, or community goodwill will be treated seriously and addressed through appropriate measures in line with our policies and applicable laws.

Swifties Iloilo remains deeply committed to safeguarding our members, partners, and the integrity of our events. We will continue to uphold a safe and trustworthy space where every volunteer’s contribution is respected, valued, and protected.
